Segments

Segments are dynamic contact groups defined by filter conditions. Unlike static lists, segments automatically update as contacts match or stop matching the criteria.

Conditions

Build segments using conditions on contact properties and behavior:
  • Contact fields — e.g., city equals “London”
  • List membership — e.g., belongs to “VIP Customers”
  • Tags — e.g., has tag “purchased”
  • Engagement — e.g., opened an email in the last 7 days

Usage

Use segments as the audience for campaigns, or as conditions in flow steps to branch logic based on segment membership.
