Segments
Segments are dynamic contact groups defined by filter conditions. Unlike static lists, segments automatically update as contacts match or stop matching the criteria.
Filter builder
Build segments with the same filter builder used across contacts, segments, sending activity, and flow split conditions. Filters are grouped so you can quickly find the right rule:
- Profile — name, email, phone, country, source, tags, custom fields, and enrichment fields
- Membership — contact list membership
- Engagement — engagement rating, sends, opens, clicks, open rate, click rate, last opened, and last clicked
- Deliverability — suppressed, bounced, complained, soft-bounce count, suppression reason, and unsubscribe date
- Behavior — event history rules such as performed, not performed, count at least, and count at most
Date filters support relative windows such as "within the last 30 days" and negative windows such as "has not opened in the last 30 days."
Segment counts
Segment counts are refreshed in the background and shown in the segment list. Counts are intended as an operational guide before sending; final campaign audiences are still evaluated at send time so the current subscription, suppression, and unsubscribe state is respected.
Usage
Use segments as the audience for campaigns, or as conditions in flow steps to branch logic based on segment membership.
Saved views vs segments
Saved views remember how you like to inspect the contacts table. Segments define an audience that can be reused for sending, automation, and agent workflows. If a filter set should affect delivery, save it as a segment.
