# v0 + Nitrosend {#v0--nitrosend}


[v0](https://v0.app) is Vercel's AI app builder. Nitrosend is one of v0's built-in MCP presets, so v0 can compose emails, build flows and send you tests for the app you are building, in your brand.


## Setup {#setup}



### Step 1: Add Nitrosend in a chat {#step-1-add-nitrosend-in-a-chat}


In a v0 chat, open the **+** menu in the prompt form, choose **MCPs**, then pick **Nitrosend** from the presets.


### Step 2: Sign in {#step-2-sign-in}


v0 opens the Nitrosend sign-in. Log in or create a free account. No API key needed.


### Step 3: Verify {#step-3-verify}


Ask v0:

```

v0 calls `nitro_get_status` and shows your account, sender identity, readiness and next steps.


## Example workflows {#example-workflows}

## No Nitrosend preset? {#no-nitrosend-preset}


In the same **MCPs** menu, configure a custom MCP server instead: URL `https://api.nitrosend.com/mcp`, authentication **OAuth**. It is the same server and the same sign-in.


## Sending from the app you deploy {#sending-from-the-app-you-deploy}


Emails your deployed app sends from its own code, such as signup confirmations and receipts, use the [REST API](https://docs.nitrosend.com/integrations/rest-api.md) with an API key rather than MCP.
